Why browser-based processing matters
Traditional file converters upload your document to a remote server, wait for that server to process it, and send the result back. FileFree uses modern browser capabilities to perform these conversions on your own device instead. That shortens the path your file takes and means we do not need to store, inspect or delete uploaded documents.
What you need
A current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari is recommended. Processing speed and maximum practical file size depend on your device memory. The conversion engine is downloaded when a tool needs it, but your selected file is not sent with that request.
